So why did we choose to buy a rooftop tent? In all honesty we originally were looking at campervans or some form of conversion to be able to affordably travel and explore more as a family, with the kids school holidays and the cost of living going crazy over the last few years we struggled to afford to go away as usually the kids holidays were around 4 times more expensive then any other time of year.

So having moved to the South West 5 years ago from Yorkshire to improve out quality of life and explore more we had done very little exploring.
